The developers from 1C Game Studios have released another Early Access update for the flight action game Korea. IL-2 Series. It features significant performance improvements in heavily loaded scenes and cities, along with new gameplay mechanics. However, the most significant addition is the Commander Career mode, which brings new missions types with personnel management and unit maintenance. Players can assign these missions to subordinates or participate in them themselves.

- Mission Expansion: The mission list will double by the end of 2026, with reconnaissance and artillery spotting under consideration.
- New Aircraft: Five new aircraft from the first DLC, including naval missions.
- Persistent Environment Damage: Autumn update will add persistent damage to the map environment from one mission to the next, with gradual repair of bridges and structures.
- AI Improvements: Further refinement of AI-controlled aircraft behavior in aerial combat, based on community feedback.
- Tutorial Mode: Dedicated tutorial mode planned for release to help players learn gameplay and controls.
