1C Game Studios has revealed the release date for Korea. IL-2 Series. The announcement came along with the cinematic trailer, featuring the main gameplay elements and stunning views. The game prepares to launch on August 4, 2026. However, players who pre-ordered the game will have a chance to join the battle earlier, on June 25, 2026. Pre-orders available on official website until full release.
Korea is a next-generation flight simulator and the next entry in the IL-2 series. The new title uses new upgraded engine, which brings better physics, damage system and flight modeling. The game features the largest map in series history. Over 200,000 square kilometers reconstruct early 1950s Korea following the historical documents. More over the game features dozens of airbases with accurate layouts, hundreds of settlements, ports, dams, and an extensive transport network.

- Museum: Aircraft and in-game objects. Reconstructed history, realistic characteristics, cockpit diagrams, variants, paint schemes, piloting tips, animations, sounds.
- Single Missions: Story missions with briefings, based on existing content and pre-configured AI scenarios.
- Mission Planner: Three basic mission types – Free Flight, Duel, Dogfight.
- Multiplayer: Large Team Death Match mission. Several official 24/7 servers with different difficulty settings. Players can host Dogfight and Cooperative servers via game or dedicated server application.
- Settings and Controls: Accessible setup experience with detailed explanations, device mapping wizard for unrecognized controllers, 70+ control mapping templates with layout diagrams.
- Graphics and Performance: FSR, DLSS, OpenVR, OpenXR, Indirect Ray Tracing lighting, and other options.
