League of Legends shared a new cinematic for 2025 Season 1. Titled A Dark Gambit, it focuses on the darker side of Noxus: Le Blanc and Vladimir, rendered in the exquisite Fortiche style just like in ‘Welcome to Noxus‘. Unlike the previous video, there is no action, but it doesn’t make it any less boring. After all, a single whisper can cut deeper than a thousand blades. Especially when it comes to the Deceiver.
The developers urge players to finish their battle pass and Arena climb before the end of Season 1 on April 28 at 11:59 PM Pacific—and then get ready for Season 2.
If you are interested in lore of League of Legends and Noxus in particular, a couple of weeks ago the developers have shared a video on the origins of this country. However, when told from Le Blanc’s perspective, it is vastly different to that of Darius.
