Pre-orders are available now for a limited time, giving Lara Croft fans the chance to own Crystal Dynamics’ 2013 reboot in cartridge form on Nintendo’s newest console. The game reimagines Lara Croft’s origin story, following the young archaeologist as she evolves from an inexperienced adventurer into the battle-hardened survivor players know from later entries in the series. Along the way, players explore the dangerous island of Yamatai, engage in cinematic combat, upgrade Lara’s equipment, and uncover the mysteries hidden throughout the island.
Limited Run Games is offering two versions of the release. The Standard Edition includes a physical Nintendo Switch 2 copy of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition along with an exclusive game booklet. Collectors looking for something more substantial can opt for the Collector’s Edition, which bundles the Standard Edition contents with several exclusive extras:
- Tea crate-inspired Steelcase
- Pry Axe keychain
- Official game soundtrack on CD
- Fold-out map of Yamatai
While none of the bonus items change the game itself, they fit neatly alongside the survival theme that defined Lara’s reboot, making the package feel more premium than the standard box.
