Smilegate and Amazon just landed a roadmap for MMORARPG Lost Ark and all roads lead to North Kurzan
Players pushing back the darkness in Arkesia can look forward to more content and all new challenges. The team behind Amazon’s MMOARPG published an update over the weekend that details the upcoming content coming to challenge players across the next few months, including everything form solo raids to a new continent of dangers to explore. Covering the months of July, September, and beyond, the news covers updates that are still being localized and prepared, so the schedule highlights the most exciting elements that heroes can expect.
Going Solo in July
July kicks off the new list of incoming content with a batch of progression updates, along with new ways for players to play with a Solo-Mode for endgame content.
A new Solo Mode will arrive in game, enabling players to challenge Lost Ark’s main content, raids, and dungeons alone. Aside from giving the strongest adventurers the chance to tackle the baddest bosses alone, this flexibility allows players who to practice raid mechanics before attempting them with a group or those who were having difficulty navigating the party-finder. I guess it also means more loot just for you.
During July, a Tier 3 Progression boost will be added to help players advance in their Arkesian journey. T3 progression will be eased by balance changes to transmuting, crafting, honing, and more.
Finally, players will see a change to the Ivory Tower, and a brand new progression event, to help players ease up towards the T4 goal. Full details aren’t available for the event, but it’s coming and it’s bound to be big.
September Evolution
The new roadmap details confirm that players can march into North Kurzan soon. During the Fall, players will head to a land where signs of Kazeros’ resurrection have been spotted. This epic new content release will face off against Kazeros, the Lord of Abyss and the father of demons, and everything this powerful nemesis can throw at the allied heroes of Arkesia.
While moving through this treacherous new challenge, expect to see changes to gear, engravings, games, accessories, ability stones, and more as part of the Tier 4 updates. The Level cap will increase from 60 to 70, while the roster level, skill level, and trade skill caps will increase too. Finally, expect new dungeons, combat system changes, and Kurzan Frontline, a new hack-and-slash style content to overcome.
This isn’t event he end of what’s coming. The end of the year will bring even bigger threats, but that’s for you to find out. To check out everything that’s coming in Lost Ark, head over to the first set of 2024 plans from Amazon and the latest blog post now to see the roadmap.
