Amazon Games has updated the Lost Ark Academy page with a new blog post introducing players to the Reaper Advanced Class. The Reaper class will be sneaking into the game with the next update slated to be deployed on November 16th. Those who can’t wait can head to the private test server to try out this stealthy class ahead of its launch.
Reapers are considered “true assassins” and are masters of stealth. They can get behind an enemy and devastate them with powerful attacks. In addition, Reapers can mislead opponents thanks to being able to vanish and summon clones.
“Reaper was the first class that I picked up when I started playing Lost Ark about a year and a half ago. Even with the game releasing in the West I still regularly played my Reapers. The class is very unique in the way it moves and deals damage. It has the best sound design out of any class I’ve played and constantly keeps you on your toes. If you’re looking for a fast-paced and rewarding class to play, you found her. She’s the Reaper!” said a key member of the development team.
Reapers have three specific modes to choose from when attacking. Each of these is enhanced by class engravings that can add some serious damage to any attack. Players will have a number of skills to choose from as well across several disciplines. These include daggers, shadow, swoop, and awakening skills.
Once the Reaper is live in the game, players will be able to take part in two progression events. Each will help accelerate characters to item level 1445. In addition, players will receive a Punika Powerpass item for completing a quest. Players will receive a piece of 1302 gear piece!
