Lost Ark just revealed a bunch of new content and a spooky new class, dropping today.
In a move that’s got nothing to do with the ARTIST anime, Lost Ark players can become a Souleater today. The introduction of a brand-new class to the title comes as part of the wider November, Soul Harvest update. Due to drop after a 4-hour maintenance window, this update adds extra progression events, Powerpasses, raids, and more. Detailed over on the Lost Ark blog and in the most recent Patch notes video, the new content and class will arrive just after maintenance. Players setting their watches can check in around November 15 at 5AM PDT (1PM UTC) and begin rolling for this new character.
Souleater
The Souleater is a brand-new Advanced Class that is known as the Master of Specters. The Assassin subclass who wields a giant scythe to collect her enemies’ souls and can utilize their scythe for direct attacks, minions such as the dead, or powerful Deathlord attacks to take down opponents. It’s all a bit necrotic and will likely work pretty well at next year’s Monster Bash.
Events
Accompanying the class changes are plenty of events to power through those re rolled character slots. The Path of the Souleater Event is exactly what it sounds like. Players can progress a character quickly from 1540 to 1580. While the event is named after the Souleater, it can be used on any character between 1540 and 1580. The event includes a Gear Honing Support Effect applied when honing Brelshaza Ancient Gear from 1540 to 1580, 2x Artisan’s Energy when honing Brelshaza Ancient Gear from 1540 to 1580, as well as caches of rewards every 10 Item Levels from 1540 to 1580. The event will also include Special Missions where players can earn additional Raid & Abyssal Dungeon materials and will also last until February 7, 2024.
This isn’t the only event. You can also expect a South Vern Powerpass & Super Mokoko Express Event that will assist a character between Item Level 1415 and 1540 to gain increased rewards, reduced costs, and generally power up until Item Level 1540.
Daily Playtime Event will also make it back into the game. This rewards players based on daily accumulated playtime. To participate, a player will need to have a character Combat Level 50 or higher and have Trusted Status. Rewards will be given at 15min / 45min / 60min / 75min / 90min of playtime, and include valuable items such as silver, honing materials, card packs, and more! For anybody looking for a serious challenge, then the Event Guardian Raids from previous patches continue this month, while new Ancient Gold drops should give you something to do with excess event coins.
These are only the highlights we’re excited about for the upcoming Lost ark Patch. You can head over to the official website to find out more about the Souleater class, new shop items, QoL changes and other events coming to Amazon’s fantasy MMOARPG later today.
