Love Getting Out of Sticky Situations? Escape Simulator 2 is Now Live

Pine Studio is happy to accommodate those who love getting out of sticky situations with its announcement about the release of Escape Simulator 2 for PC via Steam. Players will find themselves in all sorts of puzzling situations from which there is seemingly no escape. Whether you’re a fan of sci-fi locations, piratey adventures, or spooky crypt spelunking, Pine Studio has you covered.

From now through November 10th, players can pick up a copy of the game with a sweet 10% discount and a $17.99 price point. Those who love the soundtrack can also grab the OST for $4.99.

Pine Studio has created some stunning locations across nearly every imaginable situation and time. Viewers of the new trailer get a peek inside some of the puzzle locations as well as hints about gameplay action. According to this post, the launch includes a dozen escape rooms that take about an hour to figure out. The promise is that more are on the way.

Escape Simulator 2 features

  • Play Solo or Multiplayer: The game is designed for both solo play and multiplayer with friends. Up to 8 players can join together online, with built-in voice and text chat for easy puzzle-solving communication.
  • Physics and Interactions: When you step into Escape Simulator 2, we want it to feel like you’re walking into a real-life escape room. Every detail is designed for interactivity—you can pick up and examine objects, wipe away dirt, drive vehicles, take a seat wherever you like, and move anything that’s not bolted down.
  • Room Editor 2.0: Create your dream escape rooms with the updated Room Editor 2.0! After seeing over 4,000 rooms built in the first game, we’ve made the tools even more powerful and intuitive. The new lighting engine makes your rooms look more like the official rooms, the Building Editor lets you design rooms (with working stairs!), and you can bring everything to life with Sequence animations.

Some of the rooms that have been announced so far:

  • Dracula’s Castle: Step into the shadowy fortress, uncover its secrets, and free the town from a dark curse.
  • Starship EOS: An exploration vessel is stranded after a collision, forcing you to retrieve an energy source from a mysterious dark sphere.
  • The Cursed Treasure: Follow a cryptic map to a pirate island, overcome treacherous trials, and claim the ancient treasure.
