Beehive Studios and Team17 have released a 2.5D JRPG, LumenTale: Memories of Trey. The team prepared a special launch trailer showing off the game’s atmosphere and core gameplay. The game presents a new take on the monster-collection RPG, inviting players to visit a beautiful and enchanting world. LumenTale: Memories of Trey is a monster-collector JRPG with a vibrant fantasy setting. The story follows Trey, a boy with lost memories, who explores regions and captures creatures called Animons. However, the journey becomes more complicated and dangerous, as he uncovers the hidden truth of the world and his past.
Key Game Features
- Collection: Players catch Animon in the field to recruit them or initiate battles.
- Combat: 1v1 duels or 4v4 team battles. Victory depends on strategy, type matchups, and team composition.
- Holoken: A device used to battle alongside Animon.
- Trading: Three methods to trade Animon: Animon Trade Station, direct friend trades, or community trading.
- Fountain: Rest area where players craft items and cook food. Ingredients can be experimented with to nurture Animon.
- Anispace: A detached space where captured Animon reside. Players can customize the space, train Animon, and build bonds when they are not in the battle party.
