The developers from Tribute Games Inc. have released the first DLC for the beat ’em up game MARVEL Cosmic Invasion. The first characters to join the roster are Cyclops and The Thing, known by X-Men and Fantastic Four fans. Each fighter has their own abilities based, bringing new tactics to the game. Moreover, the DLC came along with major bug fixes, gameplay adjustments, and optimizations.
Update and DLC Overview
New Characters
- Cyclops: Shoots kinetic energy beams diagonally, providing a new way to counter aerial enemies.
- The Thing: A grappling powerhouse with surprising mobility. Can bounce across the battlefield and function as a tank-like protector.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed defeated enemies remaining active and untargetable
- Fixed “Galactic Challenge!” achievement not granting
- Fixed MODOK crystal bounce issues; Knull tendril balancing
- Fixed Phyla-Vell and Cosmic Ghost Rider stutter
- Fixed network crashes (Annihilus fight, host timeout, elevator transition)
Character Balance
- Spider-Man: Projectile damage 15; sliding kick 2×15
- Rocket: Adjusted range/damage; faster charged attacks
- Storm: Longer charged attack duration
- Iron-Man: Can now be hit by ground traps
Other Improvements
- Arcade mode: Credit feedback, Modifiers screen
- Assisting hero knock down after 3 quick hits
- Removed armored state from several enemies
- Level 10: Added Healing Crystal before Phyla-Vell

However, this is not all. The developers are already working on the second DLC. Next major update is planned for later this year, including a new game mode and two additional playable characters.
