Studio 22cans and Peter Molyneux have announced the release date for the city builder Masters of Albion. The game becomes a final milestone in the eminent master’s career, becoming his last project. The creator of Fable and Black & White calls the Masters of Albion his attempt to atone for the unfulfilled promises. The doors to the old Albion will open on 22 April 2026 to PC (Steam).
Masters of Albion is a creation the goes beyond the classic understanding of game genres. Mixing together city building, god simulator and RPG elements, it offers the players a unique experience in the lore rich world of Albion. The players can take a role of a God, guiding the city and it’s people. Humans need help and guidance, but it is up to the players to decide whether to rule with a hard hand or be generous. Moreover, the game offers the players to inter the people’s bodies and explore the world through their eyes. As a mere mortal they can fight bandits, complete quests and solve the mysteries of the Albion.
