Moonlight Kids and publisher Akupara Games have revealed a release date for upcoming metroidvania Echo Weaver. For this occasion the team prepared a special trailer, featuring gameplay and telling a story behind the dynamic adventure. The game prepares to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC on October 8. Meanwhile, the updated demo is available on Steam.
Echo Weaver give players a chance to step into a time-loop metroidvania. In this world time serves as currency, while secrets fuel the upgrades. Players control the last of the Weavers, trapped in a glitching time loop. They explore what remains of Provenance, uncover a conspiracy, and piece together the perfect path to freedom. Every reset allows players to go further, and every mystery unlocked makes them stronger. The game features stylish 2D art and dynamic gameplay with environmental puzzles.
