Underneath it all, MLB Perfect Inning 26 continues to push its simulation angle. The game uses a baseball-focused engine to deliver fairly detailed 3D visuals, which, for a mobile title, still hold up surprisingly well. This isn’t a reinvention of the game, and it doesn’t need to be. It’s more about keeping things current and giving players a reason to jump back in as the real season gets underway. For a sports title, that’s usually half the battle.
