Moonlighter 2 Xbox Showcase Appearance And A Peek at Gameplay

Check out the Moonlighter 2 Xbox trailer and prepare to set up shop ion PC and console in 2025.

Get ready to head into the dungeon for business and pleasure once more. This year we’re going to get the follow up to Digital Sun’s 2018 incredible business management dungeon crawler. Due to arrive on PC and consoles later this year, the hype for the latest round of financial results has been high, but a trailer at the most recent ID@Xbox showcase gave the public a glimpse at the new gameplay.

The latest look ahead to The Endless Vault is a glorious new animation style that takes the adorable pixel art aesthetic of the original and tilts into an high def isometric perspective that maintains the light-hearted tone of the series. It takes a new look at the all-important shopfront, dungeons, and enemies that players will face as they navigate the choppy markets and stabby dungeon traps.
All of this impressive action takes place in a village far from home. Marchant turned hero Will is stranded far from home, in the village of Tresna. New treasures to loot, fiendish enemies to cut through, and a fresh story all await. This time around you’ll invest in a new homestead by supporting local businesses, upgrading gear, and more. After you upgrade your gear and steel your nerves, new puzzles, risky choices, and tons of new environments wait for Will. After tackling these new dungeons, take the best loot and pop it into a shop widow, customize the display, shop layout, and barter like a pro with customers to charm them out of their hard earned gold.

The highly regarded mix of business management and roguish combat encounters that made Moonlighter so hugely successful is all still evident, but this time the Moonlighter 2 Xbox trailer presents Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault as a gorgeous glow up that will be on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 this year.
