Outfit7 announced a My Talking Hank: Islands Green Game Jam Update for 2025 that asks players to tidy up the beach.
The team behind My Talking Tom and the latest Talking Hank Islands have confirmed that the studio will join the latest Green Game Jam. Launched as an annual challenge where games studios are asked to implement environmentally themed content into their live games, this ongoing annual challenge to go green means a new activity for Hank!
Players logging in during the new event will find a brand-new interactive beach clean-up mini game. Hank joins a new turtle friend out in the sands to collect and sort recyclable waste. As they walk around the beach, players collect trash and sort it into three separate containers, each for a different type of recyclable waste. The experience not only means players get to clean up the beach in game, but they’ll also learn about environmental care and sustainability. Taking time to sort and recycle materials, players engage in eco-friendly practices while enjoying the game’s adventure
Out in the real world Outfit7 is extending its own efforts to go green through the long-running Giving Back initiative. Later this year, the company will help restore a coastal youth centre in Slovenia, echoing the beach-cleaning theme in My Talking Hank: Islands by cleaning up the area for families in need and funding a new playground for children. Green Game Jam involves more than 50 titles. Everything from Just Dance 2025, Honor of Kings, Crossy Road, and the mischievous rascals over on My Talking Hank: Islands Green Game Jam update. You can find out more about the game and join in on iOS and Android via the official website.
