Honkai Star Rail dropped a new animated short featuring Rappa and some unusual adversaries.
Get another look ahead and wonder over the deeds of a Dazzling Ninja before Rappa brings justice to the fiendish hordes in Honkia Star Rail. A new animated short dropped earlier today, giving fans of the free to play escapade from HoYoverse a glimpse at the soul of a less than subtle ninja warrior. While you won’t get any in game play time as part of this teaser, it gives players an eye for the type of attitude this new character will bring to the party.
Looking like a graffiti art take on some Nickelodeon classics, ‘Cosmic Ninjutsu Inscriptions — Havoc Exorcism: Lunar Vileslayer Scroll’ sees fearsome Rappa leaping through some stylized city streets defending citizens from a horde of malignant apes. It’s all a bit Mojo Jojo until a giant marauding banana mech stomps onto screen. I’m not expecting it to make a whole lot of sense but I definitely feel like somebody’s ordered in some Samurai Pizza Cats before putting this teaser together.
The latest trailer follows on from a more informative ‘Keeping Up With Star Rail’ preview, form just two days ago. That trailer gave us a look at some of Rappa’s upcoming abilities. Playing as a upcoming 5-star Imaginary Erudition sidekick, this Galaxy Ranger is a powerful opponent. Slashing into screen in a blaze of color, her ultimate ability is Ningu: Demonbane Petalblade, a skill that is able to deal immense damage to groups of enemies.
