Cosmic Void and Dionous Games have announced the release of their retro-inspired, cyberpunk, point-and-click adventure game Neon Hearts City. PC players can pick up a copy of the game on Steam, Itch.io, and GoG with a sweet 20% discount applied for the first week or so. Fans of games with a nostalgic feel, yet set in a futuristic (and quite bleak) cyberpunk setting, will surely enjoy this modern take on a trip down memory lane.
The game puts players in the (gum)shoes of a private investigator tracing a mysterious missing person. Along the way, a conspiracy is uncovered that links humans and androids. The secret they hide is one that could change everything in and around the world they all inhabit. Gameplay centers around retro point-and-click movement.
The team describes the game this way: A private investigator, tracking a missing person, uncovers a conspiracy between humans and androids and a secret that could change everything. Neon Hearts City is a retro point-and-click adventure that thrusts you into a grungy cyberpunk city of the future.
Developers are always keen to show off their hard work and these folks are no different. A release day trailer spotlights gameplay and a peek at the brightly-colored cyberpunk world the characters inhabit.
