Neowiz has signed a publishing deal with Chinese indie game developer Shadowlight for the global rights to their first title, Kill the Shadow
Following on from a last year’s Next Fest demo that managed a very positive score, Neowiz is set to bring Kill the Shadow to gamers screens. The publisher has signed up indie game outfit Shadowlight and will publish the narrative-focused, suspenseful adventure soon.
For those that didn’t play the demo already, you can still head over to the Steam Store page and try it out. This thrilling indie adventure centres on a detective with time-rewinding abilities and features a standout aesthetic that blend high-definition 3D environments with 2D pixel characters. In an alternate post-war divided city players must investigate and deduce a variety of bizarre murders across the city. You’ll use a “Shadow”, a strange creature attached to you that reads memories and reconstructs the traces of the deceased and your own abilities to untangle this mystery. Choose strength, spirit, charm—and select your own methods to investigate cases—psychological warfare? Bribery? Or maybe just brute force.
