Tomb Raider: the Legend of Lara Croft is out on Netflix 10 October.
A British icon of big and small screens returns for an explosive adventure in less than 24 hours, and it’s definitely not James Bond. A hugely anticipated Tomb Raider anime is out tomorrow across Netflix. The streaming service will bring fans of the franchise back for more ancient threats and shiny treasure. Following on from the wildly successful Tomb Raider; Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, this series charts the globetrotting heroine’s next chapter as a cultural icon.
Written by Tasha Huo (The Witcher: Blood Origin, Red Sonja) the new chapter for this series see’s Lara’s return home. After setting off on increasingly more perilous solo adventures, the theft of a powerful Chinese artifact from Croft Manor means an unexpected trip to England. A daring pursuit, a race around the globe, and an unlikely personal connection unfurls into a wild ride. Forgotten tomb’s, traps, and trials where Lara must confront her true self awaits.
The all-new animated Netflix series features the voices of Hayley Atwell (Lara Croft), Allen Maldonado (Zip), Earl Baylon (reprising his role as Jonah from Tomb Raider video games).
