Netflix is back with a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Wednesday Season 2! The events take us back to the Nevermore Academy, a special school for outcast kids: sirens, werewolves, and, yes, the Addams Family heiress.
The first season went into great detail as to why Wednesday Addams (portrayed by Jenna Ortega) had been all but forced to enroll into Nevermore, and how her early days at the academy went. However, her adventures didn’t stop with the usual school matters. By using her inherited psychic abilities, she went on to solve a local murder mystery and clear her parents’ name in the process.
Unexpectedly to anyone, herself included, Wednesday expresses a desire to return to Nevermore Academy in Season 2. However, she’s no longer an outcast among outcasts: her actions in the previous season made her a local celebrity and an icon. How is she going to deal with it, and with the apparent danger that looms over her roommate, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers)? Stay tuned to find out more, but one thing for sure: you will not get bored.
Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 is coming on August 6th, with part 2 arriving on September 3rd, only on Netflix.
