Netflix is back with Avatar: The Last Airbender – Season 2 teaser. The live-action continuation arrives in 2026 to introduce a new take on one of the most beloved Avatar characters of all time, Toph.

The four nations of the world once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, master of all four elements, keeping peace between them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads, the first step taken by the firebenders towards conquering the world.
The world hangs dangerously out of balance as Fire Lord Ozai and the forces of Fire Nation continue to further upset the harmony of the elements and bring war and destruction. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished.
Netflix’s live-action adaptation retells the story of young Avatar Aang (Gordon Cormier) and his adventure of restoring the balance to the world. On this journey, he meets other memorable heroes such as Katara (Kiawentiio), Sokka (Ian Ousley) and Zuko (Dallas Liu), each undergoing their own transformations and growth.
The first season focused on waterbending and its philosophies. In the second season, coming in 2026, the focus will move to earth.
