Netflix is back with some new footage for the upcoming Wednesday Season 2, showing a dark but stylish intro to the new story. Over 6 minutes, Wednesday proves that the Addams Family is back in its unique morbid but elegant approach.

Wednesday first premiered in November 2022, immediately winning over the hearts and minds of the audience with its black humor. In the first season, Wednesday Addams (portrayed by Jenna Ortega) is expelled from high school by dealing with her brother’s bullies in an unorthodox way: dumping live piranhas into the boys’ water polo team’s pool.
Forced to do so by her parents Gomez and Morticia Addams, she enrolls into Nevermore Academy, their alma mater and a private school for all sorts of outcasts, many of them as special as Wednesday herself. However, her adventures don’t stop there. By using her inherited psychic abilities, she goes on to solve a local murder mystery.
Unexpectedly to anyone, herself included, Wednesday expresses a desire to return to Nevermore Academy in Season 2. Of course, it’s unlikely to turn boring and mundane, so new adventures await for Wednesday and her roommate Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers). Stay tuned to find out more!
