Team Ninja has announced the first DLC for the upcoming action-adventure Ninja Gaiden 4, titled ‘The Two Masters.’ Notably, the additional content is already in development ahead of the game’s official release. The DLC will be available for purchase separately and as part of the game’s Deluxe Edition and a Deluxe Update pack. There is no known release date yet, but the game expansion is coming in 2026.
The Two Master promises to bring a lot of new content to the game. First, it will feature a unique weapon for both main characters, Yakumo and Ryu. Each of them will feature the unique mechanics, reflecting the unique personalities of the heroes. The players will be challenged with mastering these new styles to achieve perfect results.
Moreover, the new DLC will introduce additional story content set after the main game’s conclusion. This expansion not only extends the narrative but also allows players to experience events from a fresh perspective. By stepping into the roles of both Yakumo and Ryu, players will uncover the deeper meaning behind the story.
The Two Masters will also introduce a set of special challenges, distinct from the classic ones in the main game. Players must first complete the main campaign to unlock this mode, which offers a fresh and demanding test for anyone looking to master their skills in new ways.
Ninja Gaiden 4 comes out on October 21, 2025, for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Moreover, the ninja slasher joins Game Pass on the release date.
