The developers from Arctic Hazard have announced the delay of the tactical RPG NORSE: Oath of Blood release. This decision wasn’t an easy one, but the team wants to use some extra time for game polishing. Instead of 3 February, the game comes to PC (Steam, EGS, GOG) on 17 February 2026. However, the console version (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series) prepares for release in spring 2026.
Norse: Oath of Blood is a turn-based tactical strategy featuring RPG elements. Sen in the Viking-Age Norway, the game offers players to take a role of a young warrior Gunnar, forced into exile by invaders. Building a new settlement and forging new allies, he chases the vengeance for his father’s death. The game offers diverse gameplay, including base building, resources production and management. However, the main focus is the tactical battles, where different units with unique skills and strategic mind define the fight outcome.
