Perky arena brawler Nubs launch is set to go live and free, for a day, on the 15 May!
indie co-developers Glowfish Interactive and Rangatang have set a date for the quirky arena chaos that is new multiplayer brawl Nubs. Nubs!: Arena will go live across Steam on 15 May and players can grab it for free on launch day. You’ll nee to be quick, however. Once the clock ticks over, it’ll start cost actual cash or credit.
Launching players into a mix of multiplayer fish slapping and roguelike nonsense, Nubs: Arena is a fast-paced and unpredictable arena brawl where up to up to twenty friends are deposited to do battle in a mix of different game modes and lootable opportunities. Take on the competition in one large, violent rumble, go local, or climb the leaderboards in randomized free for all/2v2 matches with four players. Take your pick from a wealth of silly costumes, ransack t random chests, and navigate a myriad of maps utterly infested with traps and tricks. At the end of the day every Nub is the same and will turn into a star once killed — the moment where other Nubs must grab them before they flee and come back to life! The Nub with the most stars at the end of a match. You’ll need to grab the most stars in among the chaos to be crowned king Nub.
Taking the inspiration of top-down classics and then making it ridiculous seems like it’s enough to grab my attention. If you want to check out what exactly a Nub is, then prepare for the Nub launch and grab it for free, to keep, by heading to the official website or Steam Store page and Wsihlisting now.
