Ahead of it’s launch into the universe, an Exodus lore teaser relives a tale of adventurers, love, loss and the persistence of other Travelers.

Upcoming sci-fi epic Exodus recently dropped a lore teaser that reminds us that time isn’t quite the same for relativistic adventures. The newest narrative update on the Exodus website is a tale of long running rivalry that reminds us the Travelers live a life where only a few other explorers can understand the way time passes. Following a space faring pilot named Eliase Quento, it details a perilous situation and a meeting of two Travellers at who share a history of animosity.

The newest short story is another chapter of an expanding universe, and a look into the life players will lead if they choose to pick up Exodus. Forging a path out in the ether, Travelers move at massive speeds. Traveling at such velocity, and over vast distances, causes time to pass faster on the worlds they leave behind. The new story explores the impact of this, watching friends, lovers, and worlds move on around you while the scars that these two competing Travelers inflict on each other continue to fester.

Time dilation and the consequence of actions taken long ago are both major features of Exodus. Unlike other sci-fi fiction, the characters in this upcoming tale move at sub light speeds. Dotting across a huge a universe looking for ancient relics and powerful technology, these human player characters try to snatch any advantage for their worlds. As they face off powerful organisations, evolved races, and almost mythic horrors, their home planets and old allies carry on without them.
