Flying Squirrel Studios unveiled the extensive gameplay trailer for Over the Top WWI, an FPS action inspired by Battlefield 1 and coming to Steam Early Access. Arm yourself with a diverse arsenal, including rifles, artillery, and even tanks, as you navigate the fully destructible battlefields of the Great War.
It is up to you to decide whether to enjoy the single-player experience or to dive head-first into the multiplayer mode. Either way, there are action-driven battles that can feature up to 200 players or bots simultaneously fighting each other on the same battlefield, in a completely destructible and realistic first World War combat environment.
Additionally, the developers promise multiple army branches to choose from. The list includes infantry, artillery, tankers, as well as special Engineer Corps. Should you decide to become one such specialist, you’ll be able to construct various different defenses, such as barbed wire, chevaux de frise or sandbag walls.
