Developer Blizzard Entertainment is back with more goodies for the upcoming Overwatch 2 Season 16: Stadium that introduces the permanent game mode of the same name.
Additionally, Season 16 marks the arrival of the latest damage hero, Freja! As a relentless bounty hunter, Freja thrives on mobility, precision, and calculated aggression. Her Revdraw Crossbow delivers powerful rapid-fire shots, while her Bola Shot Ultimate pulls enemies together for high-impact team plays.

You can even choose between first-person and third-person perspective to see your powers in action, and unlock rewards as you rise through the ranks.”
Previously, the team shared Stadium gameplay trailer, lessons drawn from player feedback & keys to victory. This time, the new blog post is dedicated to what it takes to climb the ranks. Season 16: Stadium is ready to test the skills and strategies of every player—whether you’re Bronze or a Grand Master in Competitive Play, Stadium will be a whole new challenge. With a separate ranking system, there are different rules for climbing the ranks, and new rewards that you can only earn in Stadium.
There are seven leagues with five skill divisions to progress through: from Rookie to Legend. Moving up requires winning games, and you’ll lose points when you are defeated in higher leagues. You’ll also have a separate rank for all three roles: Tank, Damage, and Support.
Due to the evolving nature of Stadium—with new Heroes, maps, modes, and abilities changing the meta every Season—your rank will reset at the end of each Season. You will be granted the rewards of the highest League tier you reach by the end of the Season.
