Rush Royale is getting an unexpected dose of arcade nostalgia. MY.GAMES has announced a limited-time crossover event with Pac‑Man, bringing the legendary maze-chasing icon into the world of Rush Royale. The PAC-MAN: Arcade event launches March 10 and runs for two weeks, introducing a special co-op mode that blends Rush Royale’s strategy gameplay with classic arcade mechanics.
The event takes place on a unique PAC-MAN-inspired map designed to resemble the iconic maze, recreated in a bright 8-bit visual style. Instead of the game’s standard maps, players will battle through endless waves of enemies inside the retro labyrinth in a variant of the game’s Endless Co-Op mode.
Each match assigns players special temporary heroes tied directly to the crossover. One player controls PAC-MAN, while the other takes the role of Duck, Rush Royale’s mascot. The characters bring different gameplay roles to the battlefield. PAC-MAN focuses on boosting damage output, while Duck provides tactical support that helps teams survive longer against increasingly difficult waves.
The event also swaps Rush Royale’s typical bosses with PAC-MAN’s famous ghosts. Blinky appears as a high-health mini-boss, while Pinky can curse and stun units on the board. Inky grants enemies a defensive aura that reduces incoming damage, and Clyde serves as the main boss, periodically casting disruptive abilities that can shift the momentum of a match. The ghosts cannot be permanently defeated; only temporarily dispersed, adding another layer of pressure as players attempt to survive for as long as possible.
Classic PAC-MAN power-ups also play a role in the event. Power Pellets and other items appear randomly during matches, granting mana, stacking bonuses for PAC-MAN abilities, and temporarily making ghosts vulnerable so players can eliminate them instantly with the right timing. Collecting these power-ups and building hero stacks will be key to reaching higher scores.
Rather than relying on time survived, the event uses an arcade-style scoring system. Players earn points by defeating bosses, which contribute to event progression and leaderboard rankings. The leaderboard tracks player pairs by their best single run, rewarding both teammates with the same score. Points also unlock rewards through a special event track and Battle Pass progression.
The collaboration arrives at a milestone moment for both properties. PAC-MAN is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, while Rush Royale recently marked five years since launch. Since its release, Rush Royale has surpassed 100 million downloads and generated more than $470 million in lifetime revenue, making it one of MY.GAMES’ most successful mobile titles.
Rush Royale is available now on iOS and Android, and the PAC-MAN event is live starting March 10 for a limited two-week run.
