S-GAME has announced the beginning of pre-orders for the upcoming action-adventure Phantom Blade Zero. To convince players that the game is worth it, the developers prepared an 11-minute-long video featuring gameplay, story, and a combat showcase. The team has also revealed the identity of the man cradling the infant. He is a Mó Yuan, Leader of the Bastion of Mó, brought to life through facial and motion capture by Donnie Yen, kung fu filmmaker and actor.
Phantom Blade Zero is an upcoming action RPG which blends traditional wuxia martial arts with a dark punk fantasy aesthetic. Players take on the role of Soul, a warrior framed for murdering his master. Left with a devastating wound to the heart and just sixty-six days to live, he roams the Wulin alone and hunted. Unraveling a conspiracy that has ensnared the martial world becomes the final goal of his remaining life. The game features exploration across the mysterious Phantom World, where shifting light and shadow conceal secrets at every turn.
