Phonopolis is Now Live

Amanita Design celebrates the release of their new puzzle adventure project Phonopolis. Coming from the acclaimed studio, the game promises another deep narrative driven experience, set in unique hand drawn world. This time developers explore the dystopian setting inspired by avant-garde art. The game is available for PC (Steam) and already warmly welcomed by the players.

Phonopolis tells a story of the city, controlled by omnipresent loudspeakers. They control people’s life and chose what experience they are allowed to have. The “Absolute Tone” is the ultimate tool of this creature, which will strip every citizen of their humanity. However, one young man, Felix, recognizes the threat before it’s too late. Stopping the Leader from turning everyone onto mindless servants becomes his main goal.

The story, loosely inspired by the works of Karel Čapek and George Orwell, explores themes of social manipulation and individualism while maintaining a playful, light-hearted tone.
