Developers from Wobble Ghost and publisher Deck13 revealed a release date for the old-school pixel action adventure Spindle. On this occasion, they prepared a new announcement trailer, featuring gameplay and introducing the two main characters. The game rolls on 13 October 2025 for Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
Spindle invites players on the pixel adventure full of action and dangers. Taking a role of a young Grim Reaper, who awakened in a strange world where death doesn’t exist. However, there is no vise mentor or superior Death worker around. The only friend and helper is a Pig. The strange duo embarks on a journey through the unknown lands to find out what’s going on there. How long the world without death can last? Should it be fixed or not? Those are questions the players have to find out answers for.
The game has many activities to offer. The dungeons on the way are full of dangers, while puzzles force everyone to think. Moreover, it;s not just a pixeled action full of fun and excitement – there are morally tough choices to make. Each decision the payers make will decide the fate of the living being and the outcomes for the death itself.
