High stake heist sim Monaco 2 is available right now across PC and Console.

Years after the first incarnation of indie heist sim Monaco hit shelves, the sequel is finally here. Monaco 2 is available across Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S right now. Pick your friends or be a solo crim and sneak into the heart of the action. Experience the thrill of the loot as you assemble a group of master thieves, plan your approach, and execute without restoring to the run and gun tactics for your payday!

Monaco 2 was first announced back in 2022 and we’ve seen more teasers recently, but we’ve been waiting for this return to crime for some time. This time around players choosing a life of notoriety can go solo, or attack co-op with up to 3 friends. You’ll still want to plan your approach by scoping the layout of luxury establishments and bank vaults before diving in. The new 3D art style excels here, allowing heisters to get a good look at the floors ahead of time. You’ll still need all your skill and cunning to avoid other obstacles and traps. Utilize the power of eight playable characters, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles. Switch mid run to finish this gold-plated dungeon run with money, diamonds, and more.

Mixing the core of the original with a more expansive take, new art, and a procedural round of unpredictable missions, there’s plenty to like about this update to the original.

Monaco

Monaco, developed by Pocketwatch Games, was released in April 2013. The first in this top-down stealth action series offered a unique experience set in the glamorous world of heists on the French Riviera. Players took on various roles – such as the Locksmith, Hacker, or Lookout – in a quest to pull off daring heists and escape with the loot. A charming pixel art style, engaging gameplay mechanics, and a dynamic soundtrack that adds to the tension and excitement of each mission. Monaco is still available for purchase on platforms such as Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux, and consoles. Now, you can check out both of these games with the Lucky in Monaco Steam Bundle, featuring both Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine and Monaco 2 with a 10% discount for $35.98 USD.
