PlayStation Plus subscribers can grab 4 games in for free during May 2024, including EA’s big name soccer sim and sci-fi parkour adventure Ghostrunner 2.
Sony has revealed the list of free games that PlayStation plus subs will drop into gaming libraries this month. Arriving on 7 may and open to download for no extra cost, PlayStation owners across all tiers for the online service will get EA Sports FC 24, Ghostrunner 2, Darkness in Destiny 2: Lightfall, and Tunic.
EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition
If you like Soccer and aren’t busy putting all your time into Konami’s eFootball series, then the EA version of the beautiful game is a solid choice. Formerly FIFA branded, and the big name on the football scene. The 2024 instalment of this long running series includes 19,000 fully licensed players, 700 teams, and 30 leagues from the men’s and women’s games.
Ghostrunner 2
Coming to PS5 only, Ghostrunner 2 is the sci-fi parkour platformer sequel that explodes out of the tower. Following on from the very first in the series, this high precision adventure puts players in a post-apocalyptic adventure where players have already taken revenge on a nefarious force. Now, you’ll break out of your home turned prison and explore the wider world, and wastelands that are left. Featuring incredible acrobatics, precise timing, and a ton of cool cyber ninja styled weapons, Ghostrunner 2 is worth spending some time on.
Destiny 2: Lightfall
This Destiny 2 expansion takes Guardians to Neptune to discover a neon metropolis unlike anything you’ve seen before in Destiny 2. Featuring a new threat, bigger backdrops, an engaging narrative, and tons of builds to explode enemies with, this new chapter in Destiny is likely to find you loitering around Neomuna just for the sake of it. Just remember to grab the base Destiny 2 game to leap in and explore this new world.
Tunic
An enchanting indie action-adventure game that follows the journey of an adorable fox exploring a mysterious and beautiful world. Mixing together a charming art style and isometric hack and slash adventure mechanics, this title drags players though, intricate dungeons, puzzles, and combat with a range of powerful foes. I’d best describe it as an intricate and magical adventure that looks cute but takes no prisoners. Check out our glowing review of Tunic.
