Developer and publisher Capcom is back with the First Contact trailer for Pragmata, the studio’s newest IP, an all-new Science Fiction action adventure with its own unique hacking twist.
The game is announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, with the slated release window being 2026.
The trailer above shows the very premise of the story, with a small dive into the new in-game technology of Lunafilament and advanced generative AI used by the Delphi Corporation. But, as such things usually go, the unforeseen happens, pitting the creations against the creator.
The protagonist, Hugh, passes out from his wounds during his mission. Upon waking up, he meets childlike looking Pragmata D-I-033607, whom he nicknames Diana. The two will have to rely on one another to make it through the base in one piece and find answers. How will Hugh return to Earth from the lunar research station? What will it mean for Diana? Stay tuned to find out.
“It is the near future, and protagonists Hugh and his android companion Diana, must work together as they make their way through the cold lunar research station.”
The glimpses of gameplay promise a third-person action-adventure, filled with shooting, jumping, and hacking. The game received a brand-new official site, but currently it does not have any information besides the platforms, the year of release, and the trailer you can find above.
