Indie game developer Ice Quake Games has announced their latest title, Project S.U.N.D.I.A.L.. The release date is currently planned for April 27th, 2027. At this time, only a Steam release is planned.
Project S.U.N.D.I.A.L. does not have a price point for the final game in mind. However, fans can either wishlist the game or request to be a part of the game’s playtest period. Requesting access or wishlisting the game will send a notification to fans when it’s available or simply ready for more testers.
Project S.U.N.D.I.A.L. Game Features

- Single player and online multiplayer modes available
- Play as a Contractor from Unit 13, tasked with hunting down mysterious creatures called Hollows
- Choose to remain loyal to the cause, work for the highest bidder, or pursue a personal agenda

- Encounter other players in the surrounding wastelands and engage in mutual cooperation or gun them down for loot
- Perform extractions with a sense of urgency, or risk losing loot
- Contains realistic body part damage simulation
- Explore different regions from city ruins to toxic wastelands
- Enjoy dynamic weather and seasons and find unique enemies, quests, and more
- Customize weapons, using up to 15 interchangeable parts
- Explore rifts and anomalies, risking everything for the chance at powerful items
- Change appearances based on gear
- Encounter powerful bosses and decide whether to run or fight
- Craft armor, weapons, medicine, and more in the workshop
- Hire other survivors to play the roles of doctor, mechanic, cook, or farmer to help along the journey
