Giant thumbs, talking tofu, cursed towns, and the Promise Mascot Agency out now on PC and console.
Get ready to bring the chaos to a sleepy backwater town as Promise Mascot Agency launches today. Available on Steam, Epic, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch, this outrageous new RPG invites players to take up custodianship of a run-down mascot agency and rebuild it t a position of respectable financial success. Sounds easy right?
This off the wall business sim isn’t simply a case of staff management. Follow disgraced yakuza Michi as he finds himself with a new number two, Pinky! You’ll need explore the local town, round up mascots, staff the agency, and hire them out for jobs. IN this fictional bit of Japan, that’s easier than it sounds. Unfortunately, this bunch of weird and less wonderful employees come with their own quirks, problems, and trouble. Mix in some deckbuilding with the RPG management mystery and play hero cards to help them out of fire, flood, fistfights, and the occasional bit of furniture to successfully complete jobs. Cash in, and keep the reputation of the agency intact while some familiar voices croon their way through a bonkers days’ work.
The wonderful voices of Takaya Kuroda (Yakuza’s Kiryu Kazuma), Ayano Shibuya (Zelda Breath of the Wild & Tears of the Kingdom – Purah), Eri Saito (Chainsaw Man, Metal Gear Solid 4, Way of the Samurai 3), Shuhei Yoshida (handsome industry hero), and Swery (Deadly Premonition, The Good Life, Spy Fiction) Don’t forget to keep an ear out for Nobuyuki Hiyama (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask) as Captain Sign!
It might not surprise you to learn that a Yakuza inspired 3D RPG, management sim based on the Japanese inclination to give everything a mascot comes out of the irrepressible Kaizen Games Works. The team that built Paradise Killer might very well be on to another cult classic. I’ve already played the recent demo, and I’d hug Pinky!
