Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra Scene 0 Part 1 event starts on 30 May with Mabayu Aki
A new face and another chapter in the magical girl RPG, Magica: Magia Exedra, begins on Friday. Coming to PC and mobile, the new Scene 0 Part 1 event adds adventure and brings [Hollow Woman] Mabayu Aki to the screen. Aniplex confirmed the new drop arrives as part of a project to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Split into three parts, this first includes a new questline, additional rewards, and a pick up Fate Weave featuring 5★Kioku [Hollow Woman] Mabayu Aki.
The newest story section is penned by Vio Shimokura (Nitroplus), and the project was developed in cooperation with Nitroplus. It centres on Mabayu Aki, a student at Mitakihara Middle School. The seemingly normal student finds time frozen for all but her. Players will help her root out the cause, and end up stumbling into the path of a familiar Magical Girl. The latest narrative is a limited-time event divided into three parts: the first, middle and last. The event will be added to the main story at a later date, so don’t worry if you miss out this time.
There will, however, be event rewards. Clear the main quest Puella Magi Madoka Magica Main “The Fourth Window Into Memory [Dessert Witch] BOSS” to unlock the rewards and loot the portrait “Granting Impossible Miracles”! Players who breeze through this new update can also try out the latest “Chaos” mode of the main quest. “Chaos” mode is an addition to the main quest and is a quest even more difficult than Nightmare mode. This ditches the normal trash for purely boss battles with Witches and Rumours, with honorary titles for clearing each of these.
Madoka Magica: Magia Exedra Scene 0 Part 1 continues to update the latest Magical Girl RPG featuring the iconic Madoka series. Initially launched in early 2025, it finds players searching for lost memories and exploring a number of very familiar stories from the wildly popular anime series. Like any good gacha game, you can build a powerful team based on powerful warriors and fight off the Witches. To celebrate this update, players can grab gacha pulls for free by logging in each day, up until the launch, with a a limited edition portrait also on offer for logging in.
