Puella Magi Madoka chalks up a whipping 900,000 prelaunch registrations and revealed Sana Futaba is coming to the battlefront.
The latest battel against the witches just revealed a new solider in the struggle against all that is evil. Aniplex has unveiled Sana Futaba will assist her friend in the ongoing fight for humanity, when Puella Magi Madoka comes to Google Play, App Store and Steam. The new character arrives as the upcoming title reaches a whopping 900,000 preregistrations, unlocking a range of rewards for players and even more in the future.

Futaba comes to the fight before launch but follows on from a range of other magical girls that we’ve already had announced. Sana is one of the five primary Magical Girls appearing in the in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story game. Something of a contradictory character, she thinks negative thoughts and struggles with confidence yet still comes to the defence of her friends with a powerful shield. Whether this is how the character plays out in the latest title, we will have to see.
