Quackers indie platformer leaps into the Duck Paradox on PC
A duck hunt turned outrageous indie platformer goes live today in a Duck Paradox. Available now on PC, via Steam and GoG, this wild feathered adventure is a 2D retro fuelled laser wielding platformer with more than a little bit of feather infused silliness about it. Follow the fate of Dr. Paraducks as she searches for her beloved pet in among the realms of the multiverse and fry up a myriad of flapping unfrendlies along the way.
Winging it out of Early Access and costing around $7.99 or local equivalent, Duck Paradox is designed to be deceptively simple but ultimately challenging. As the genius animal lover delves through various worlds, she battles numerous corrupted versions of her beloved pet. Giant flapping monsters and a loosing grip on reality require precise timing and sharp reflexes to overcome. A trusty ray gun and a can-do quackitude, along with upgrades to the bouncing bullets and shield bubbles that you have, will all make things a little easier. You can even slow down time. That won’t serve up and less duck, but at least you’ll have an opportunity to breathe between the bullet hell.
Mixing a bunch of ideas, some retro silliness, and even its own music video, Duck paradox sounds every type of bonkers and you can try it out for free. A demo is available now on the Steam Store website. Check out more or just hit pause on reality and dive in.
