Railway Empire, from developer Kalypso (of Tropico 5 fame), has released some information about their plans moving forward with the tycoon sim. Outlined in the press release are a full list of changes coming in the next steam patch as well as some plans for future free updates for players.
A couple points of note are that Kalypso will be introducing a rather large North American Map for the games free mode. This new map will span from the West to East coast and include a huge tech tree that covers the full 100 years of the steam revolution. The company also noted that over the following months’ players can look forward to new content, bug fixes and other enhancements and improvements based on player feedback. The updates will be released first on the PC version with the console updates rolling out shortly after. Check out the trailer for Railway Empire below:
