To-Go Games and astragon Entertainment have released a 2nd content update for the Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator. The expansion introduces a new Animal Interaction System, three additional animal species, and a variety of new callouts and equipment for virtual rangers. To introduce new changes, the team released a short trailer, showing off new features and creatures.

- Bison: A true American icon, offering fascinating observation opportunities.
- Feral Hogs: Roaming the forests of Faremont.
- Bobcats: Elusive predators found in the park’s hills and mountain slopes.
Tools and Equipment
- Tranquilizer Gun: Used to sedate trapped or injured animals for safe intervention.
- VHF Receiver: Tracks animals fitted with GPS transmitters.
- Root Puller: Removes invasive plant species threatening the park’s ecosystem.
Callouts and Dynamic Events
- Securing Traps: Find and dismantle traps before they endanger visitors and wildlife.
- Trapped Animal: Locate, tranquilize, and free animals caught in traps.
- Injured Animal: Find, sedate, and treat injured wildlife; severe cases may require transport back to the ranger village.
- GPS Tracking: Locate animals with faulty or unnecessary transmitters, sedate them, and remove or replace the devices.
- Invasive Plant Removal: Remove invasive species using the root puller.
- Planting New Flora: Collect seedlings of native plants and restore designated areas; watch them grow over time.
- Campsite Cleanup: Document damage, reprimand responsible campers, and close sites until repairs and trash removal are complete.
- Visitors Being Loud: Locate and address noise disturbances affecting other visitors and wildlife.
- Visitors Littering: Remind visitors that littering violates park rules and poses dangers to wildlife.
