Since the game’s return to Steam, roguelite Realm of Ink received a number of updates based on community feedback. The heroine of the game, Red, unexpectedly discovers she is just a fictional character within the short story when hunting the Fox. Only by unlocking the dark secrets will she defy her own destined path.
As you play through Realm of Ink, you will progressively unlock more characters. Red and others discover that they are just fictional characters in Realm of Ink. Everything seems to be destined: the old world will collapse while a new world is forming, and the awakened spirits will be meant to reshape their true selves amidst countless cycles of destruction.

Realm of Ink – Latest Updates Include:
- Added new skin “Phoenix Rises” for Red
- Under Dragon Hair Brush difficulty, Keh’s actions are now more obvious and easier to tell
- Casting Ink Skills that has no cast animations, such as Ink Skill of Flash Ink, will no longer interrupt other actions
- Difficulty descriptions will also include Elixir drop rate information
- Dragon Hair Brush difficulty drops 30% more Fox Blood
- Red will no longer enter idle state when using skills that has no cast animations
- Fixed an issue where Rosy Momo would incorrectly play a loop sound effect
- Fixed an issue where with Heart of Sword and Grand Unified, certain damage dealt wasn’t recorded as Light/Heavy Attack damage and Ink Skill damage.
- Under Dragon Hair Difficulty, enemies have 25% less total health in Chapter 1&3, enemies have 15% less health in Chapter 3&4
- Under Dragon Hair Difficulty, enemies in Trial Valley deal 25% less damage in Chapter 1,2
- Under Dragon Hair Difficulty, The Book Spirit has 20% less health and deals 30% less damage
- Phase 1 Book Spirit’s shockwave no longer deals any damage
- Common, Rare and Epic Fortune Ink’s Ink Skill deal 50% more damage
- Common, Rare and Epic Herb Ink’s Ink Skill deal 50% more damage
- Common, Rare and Epic Kylin Ink’s Ink Skill deal 50% more damage
- Perk “Shadow Mask” also peovides Ink Pets’ Critical Chance + 15%
- Perk “Monster Cells” stats addition increased from +10% → 15%
- Grace now only takes 50% of your current silver coin in exchange for ink stone
- Increased Fox Blood drop under Dragon Hair Brush difficulty
- Adjusted certain elite power to be less powerful
