Leap Studio, the developers of action roguelite Realm of Ink, have released a major Early Access update and shared the roadmap leading to the full release of the game. Players are in for 3 new Ink Gem Powers, 21 new Perks, and the new Pick System that lets players choose their starting Ink Gem Power and Perk in this latest update.
With this update released, the game now has:
- 25 Ink Gem Powers
- 145 Perks
- 9 Weapon Forms
- 101 Martial Arts Skills
- Hundreds of Elixirs
The developers have also shared the latest road map leading up to the full V1.0 release, planned for January 2025. There are two more major updates expected to drop before then, one in November 2024, and one in December 2024. However, the developers plan on more updates and free DLCs, so stay tuned!

The heroine of the game, Red, unexpectedly discovers she is just a fictional character within the short story when hunting the Fox. Only by unlocking the dark secrets will she defy her own destined path.
As you play through the game, you will progressively unlock more characters. Red and others discover that they are just fictional characters in Realm of Ink. Everything seems to be destined: the old world will collapse while a new world is forming, and the awakened spirits will be meant to reshape their true selves amidst countless cycles of destruction.
