THQ Nordic and Tarsier Studios have announced that co-op horror Reanimal has officially gone gold. The game is officially complete, and only a few months separate the players from the immersive, dreadful adventure. The game will come to Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S and will support cross-platform play. The launch is set for Friday, 13 February 2026.
Coming from the creators of Little Nightmares, Reanimal takes players on a darker and more terrifying adventure than ever. The game tells a story of two orphans who have to go through hell to find and save their missing friends. To escape the island they used to call home, they should work together and use each other’s strong sides. The developers promise a dark story, with a light of hope, yet it should be earned.
Reanimal is available for pre-purchase, including the Digital Deluxe Edition. Aside from the main game, it includes The Season Pass for all three upcoming story DLC chapters and exclusive Foxhead & Muttonhead masks DLC. Moreover, the Demo version is available on Steam for everyone willing to test the game before purchase.
