The developers from ChillyRoom and publisher Spiral Up Games have presented a first trailer for the cyberpunk project ReBlade: The Death Spiral. Coming from the creators of Loulan: The Cursed Sand, the game promises dynamic battles, futuristic Chinese aesthetics and roguelike gameplay. The project comes to PC and already received the official Steam page. However, the release date remains a mystery for now.
ReBlade: The Death Spiral will take players to the world inspired by Chinese mythology and cyberpunk style. There they will take a role of a Synthetic, destined to be dismantles and trapped in the cycle of endless resents. Breaking through the same levels over and over, they will pave the way to a new future.
Key Game Features
- Combat System: A timing-based system, which requires to balance offensive and defensive actions, read enemy behavior, and execute attacks at optimal moments to gain an advantage.
- Progression: Each play through is unique due to sets of various weapons, chips, and augments. This system allows refining and adapt combat style to players preferences and challenges.
- Enemy: Numerous mechanical creatures wait on the way. Studying enemy attack patterns and strategically breaking their defenses the players can invent more effective tactics.
- Narrative Loop: Main character is bound to a cycle of repetition. Gameplay involves progressing through this cycle, interacting with characters, trading resources, and uncovering the world’s lore.
