Indie game studio Xiaming Game announced release date of their debut project Retrace the Light. Isometric Sci-Fi action with RPG elements comes to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) on 21 November 2025. The game will also come to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. However, the console players will have to wait a little longer, as there is no release date for these platforms yet.
Retrace the Light is a 2.5D action adventure that bring players to the future. Taking a role of the Enforcer, they have to master the Spatial Retracing technique and explore the depth of human consciousness. This isn’t a task of some secret organization, but one given by the super Ai that rules this futuristic world. The main goal of the Enforcer is to stabilize the society and ensure security by healing the individuals from intense emotional turmoils.
Aside from dynamic fights and action, the game features a deep narrative with five different endings. The player’s choices will determine the outcome. Moreover, on the way, the players will meet several companions with different backgrounds and believes. Their fates are tied to the Enforcer’s and how it unravels depends on the player.
