Developer Bluepoch is inviting more Arcanists to brave the “Storm” together. Time-traveling RPG Reverse: 1999 is now available on Steam.
A mysterious phenomenon known as the “Storm” hit the world on the last day of 1999, causing anything it touched to be reversed and the time to stop progressing. In Reverse: 1999, players control Vertin, an Arcanist from the St. Palvov Foundation that seeks to protect humanity. The only person immune to the effects of the “Storm”, Vertin travels through different eras and recruits a cast of diverse Arcanists to aid her in understanding this peculiar phenomenon.
The game is currently going through Version 1.9: Vereinsamt, which also marks its first anniversary. There are plenty of rewards waiting inside, including a free 6-star character that can be claimed through the month of October.
Additionally, this version introduced a new game mode, the Window to Other Worlds: A Series of Dusks. In it, players will follow Semmelweis and experience various challenges and events, collecting and equipping appropriate artefacts to reach the end f the story. Select your Tone from 20 available options, choose your Catalyst based on its unique effects, summon reliable Companions, and set out on this adventure.
