Developer Bluepoch Games kicked off the first phase of Reverse: 1999 Version 2.5, the latest update that coincides with the game’s 1.5-year anniversary. Titled Showdown in Chinatown, it introduces a new true limited character, Liang Yue, new 5-star Loggerhead, and much more.
Timekeepers can also expect to find abundant rewards, login events, and a whole set of new garments, including Windsong and The Fool’s garments being gifted for free.
But the most interesting of all is the brand-new story that adds an element of mystery as Liang Yue tries to solve an old case. The annual Shehuo Parade is on the horizon and Nightpiercer is at it again on a crime spree in Los Angeles. While the media continues to glorify this criminal as a vigilante, Liang Yue was assigned by the Vigiles Bureau to assist the Division of Arcane Affairs in Los Angeles with the Nightpiercer case.
