Rise of the Ronin launched on Steam on March 11, 2025, receiving mixed user reviews, mostly due to the game’s poor optimization and other technical and performance-related difficulties. Developer Team Ninja took to the official X (previously Twitter) account to publicly apologize for the inconvenience. The developers also noted that the upcoming patch, scheduled to arrive on April 10th, will address some of the reported issues.
“We are currently investigating reported issues for “Rise of the Ronin” Steam version. Currently we are preparing a patch, which will be released 4/10 (Thu.), to fix or improve some of these issues. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences that you may have experienced.”
